Yes, we are aware of the fact that some groups face major racial issues in the United States and that the country hasn’t made much progress towards racial equality. Recently, one of the renowned foundations, “Ford Foundation” has made a new commitment worth $180 million to address racial disparities and invest in racial justice for communities of colour.
From the total amount of funding, $125 million is dedicated to a new generation of Black-led groups and organizers. With this generous support, the foundation is positioning itself to become a major philanthropic force in the fight for racial justice.
This additional funding will not only sustain advocacy groups through the challenging days and months ahead but also create space for transformative ideas and approaches to advance racial justice.
