Well, we all know COVID-19 Pandemic has become the most defining global humanitarian challenge of all times, and funding is the need of an hour. Therefore, several renowned companies and philanthropies raised their hands and stepped up their efforts to help mitigate this COVID-19 challenge.
Recently, Global soap brand, Lifebuoy has launched a ‘H for Handwashing’ campaign to help change the behaviour of children towards handwashing and also mobilized €30 million towards the initiative. The project will involve co-creating programmes with education, health, humanitarian, and behaviour change experts to encourage handwashing habits in children from a young age.
Amid the backdrop of the pandemic and beyond, Lifebuoy will also partner with Sesame Workshop, the non-profit organisation behind children’s programme Sesame Street, to create premium educational storytelling for children and caregivers to drive positive hygiene behaviours.
