Yes, you have heard it right my friend! European Union and the Tony Elumelu Foundation (TEF) have joined hands to support the economic empowerment of women across Africa and has made a contribution of €20 million.
The program will enhance mentorship skills and capacity gaps, financial constraints and networks. This joint effort also help women participate in economic development, realize their full potential and accelerate economic inclusion.
The partnership aims to alleviate the funding, knowledge and market constraints threatening the livelihoods of women entrepreneurs on the continent, to create more income, jobs, growth and scale for women-owned businesses.
