The Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD)-Elsevier Foundation Awards for Early Career Women Scientists in the Developing World launched a call for applications.
The OWSD-Elsevier Foundation Awards reward and encourage women working and living in developing countries who are in the early stages of their scientific careers, having often overcome great challenges to achieve research excellence.
Areas
Applications will be open for scientists working to advance knowledge in the following research areas:
- 2022 Awards: Climate action and the environment (SDG13, SDG14 or SDG15)
- Goal 13: Climate Action – Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts
- Goal 14: Life below Water – Conserve andsustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources
- Goal 15: Life on Land – Sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, halt and reverse land degradation, halt biodiversity loss
Applications must be submitted by 28 October 2021 (24:00 CET).
